earthquake

this morning i was awakened by the shaking of the house
everything was moving
nothing was certain
everything was up in the air
nothing was safe
everything was shifting
questions about
everything was questioned
was this the end
everything over
was this the beginning
everything to be made new
one thing was certain
everything was in God’s hands
no one knew what to expect yet
everything was controlled beyond us
fear, uncertainty, questions
everything dependent upon faith
God was in control
everything is His
God reminded me and many others
everything is demolishable
God gently guides us back to Him
everything will soon be gone
God gave a warning
everything will soon be over as we know it.
